Andy Zuliani (b. 1988) lives in Vancouver, Canada, where he writes, teaches, and composes music for theatre, film, and dance.
His practice is rooted in fieldwork, collaboration, and other forms of immersive storytelling. His multimedia film installation, “Drumlin” (2025), premiered at the Libby Leshgold Gallery, and his previous performance installation, “Your Future is Filled” (2021) was presented at the Active/Passive festival, and later exhibited on the Mount Pleasant Community Art Screen.
As a composer for film, he has also created scores for short films including Rachel Younie’s “Untethered” (2024). His debut novel, Last Tide, was published by NeWest Press in the fall of 2021.
Andy holds a doctoral degree from New York University, where he researched tropes of obstruction, frustration, and queered embodiment in twentieth-century literature and visual art.
He currently is a lecturer of creative writing and textual arts at Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
